This collection reflects the surveying activities along the Southeast Alaska border of Canada by the International Boundary Commission in 1908-1909. The photographs were taken by the survey leader, O.M. Leland, who provided handwritten captions for the photos. Areas photographed include the Unuk, Leduc, and Blue Rivers, Smith Lake, Blue Lake, Gracey Creek, Lake Creek, Daley's Landing, and various other scenic views of mountains and glaciers in the Coast Mountains area of Southeastern Alaska and British Columbia.
